Certificate in Ranch Horse Training Outcomes:
1. Demonstrate training of a horse’s ranching ability focusing on smooth transitions, correct, efficient, and accurate patterns.
2. Demonstrate training of a horse while maneuvering various obstacles found on the ranch, cow sense, and being willingly guided.
3. Effectively demonstrate proficiency in chores and tasks required for working safely in a barn environment. Demonstrate the ability to prepare a colt for the first ride and have basic knowledge of performance horse training.
4. Illustrate and apply professional employability skills, such as the importance of being timely, having a willing attitude, taking initiative, cooperating, and providing quality care for animals.
